EC Key issues in the history of religion

The aim of this extension curriculum is to provide students with basic knowledge and skills in the field of general history of religion. They are enabled to comprehend the genesis as well as current constellations of religious imaginary worlds using the example of the traditions dealt with in the extension curriculum - Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hindu religions, Buddhism. The historical examination of these religious traditions is intended to create a basic understanding of the positions of their contemporary representatives.
