Graduation from bachelor's programme in Religious Education (all majors)
Graduation from a bachelor's programme in Religious Education (covering all the relevant focus topics) as per the following
- Upon successfully completing all necessary achievements according to the curriculum and a final grade has been calculated, you will receive an automated mail with a link that will take you to the "Graduation Bachelor" page in u:space. On the page, you will find the necessary steps explained to successfully submit your degree and receive your graduation documents.
- Subsequently, a blue action message will also appear with the link to the degree completion form on this page in u:space (this may take up to 2 business days). Select the applicable items on the form and upload the UHSTAT confirmation PDF.
- If all requirements for graduation are met, the degree certificates will be issued by the SSC
Graduation from bachelor's programme in the Teaching Subject Catholic Religion
Depending on whether the teaching subject Catholic Religion is the first or the second teaching subject the following has to be done:
First subject: Catholic Religion (198 418 XXX)
If the teaching subject Catholic Religion is your first teaching subject, the degree certificates will be issued by the SSC Catholic Theology.
Graduation: Catholic Religion is first teaching subject
For the registration of the completion of the second teaching subject and pedagogic-scientific career preparation and the pedagogical training, please do as follows:
- Pedagogic-scientific career preparation and pedagogic training: Information how you apply for the registration of your degree, as dictated by the SSC Teacher Education, can be found here: https://ssc-lehrerinnenbildung.univie.ac.at/ssc-lehrerinnenbildung/studienabschluss-pruefungspass/bachelorstudium/ ⇒If the requirements are fullfilled, the SSC Teacher Education will register the student's completion, which will be internally accessible to the SSC Catholic Theology
- Second teaching subject: Information on how to apply for the completion of the second teaching subject can be found from the respective SSC/SSS or their websites. The SSC of the second teaching subject will register the completion of the second teaching subject, which will be internally accessible to the SSC Catholic Theology.
⇒ After successfully completing all of the necessary requirements of the bacheolor's programme according to the sub-curricula and the registration of the completion of the sub-curricula please notify the SSC Catholic Theology via mail: ssc.ktf@univie.ac.at
⇒ If all requirements for the graduation are fullfilled, the degree certificates will be issued by the SSC Catholic Theology.
Second subject: Catholic Religion (198 XXX 418)
If the teaching subject Catholic Religion is your second teaching subject, the degree certificates will be issued by the SSC of your first teaching subject.
Graduation: Catholic Religion as the second teaching subject
- After positively completing all of the necessary requirements according to the curriculum of the teaching subject Catholic Religion, please notify the SSC Catholic Theology via mail: ssc.ktf@univie.ac.at
- After the examination of the requirements by the SSC, the graduation of the teaching subject Catholic Religion will be registered by the SSC Catholic Theology, and this will be internally accessible to the SSC of the first teaching subject.
Survey on study-related stays abroad
Students at public universities are obliged to complete the UHSTAT2 survey form (according to section 18 subsections 6 and 7 of the Bildungsdokumentationsgesetz 2020, Federal Law Gazette I No. 20/2021, in the current version, and section 141 subsection 3 of the Universitätsgesetz 2002, Federal Law Gazette I No. 120/2002, in the current version) when completing a bachelor's, master's, diploma or doctoral degree program.
After successfully passing the final examination, please fill in the form. As soon as you have completed the survey, you will receive a confirmation. Send this confirmation by e-mail to ssc.ktf@univie.ac.at.
The Degree Certificates can only be handed over once the confirmation has been submitted to the SSC.
Passing courses of the master's programme during the bachelor's programme
The participation in courses of the master's programme requires following the guidelines of the University of Vienna that you are admitted to the master's programme. Thus, the courses of a master's programme are not meant to be passed during the bachelor's programme.
