As of 1 October 2023, the doctoral programme directors of the Faculty of Protestant Theology (formerly DSPL 37) and the Faculty of Catholic Theology (formerly DSPL 36) will be merged into a new, overarching DSPL 60 "Theological Studies and Research on Religion". At the request of the Rectorate, the structure of the new DSPL will thus be aligned with the structure of the Vienna Doctoral School of Theology and Research on Religion VDTR and different theologies and disciplines researching religion will be bundled in one DSPL.

We would like to give you the opportunity to get to know the newly created DSPL 60 and introduce you to the most important people and structures that will accompany you - alongside your supervisor - through your doctoral studies.

On 12 October 2023 at 11 a.m. we will therefore briefly introduce the new DSPL 60 and the Vienna Doctoral School of Theology and Research on Religion VDTR and you will have the opportunity to talk to the staff of the StudiesServiceCentre. The offer is primarily aimed at people who have just started their doctoral studies. Of course, all other doctoral students are also welcome.
