Master's Programme “Religion in Europe”
Starting in the winter semester of 2025, the University of Vienna offers at the Faculty of Protestant Theology a new English-language Master's programme “Religion in Europe”, which provides a unique opportunity to explore the phenomenon of religion in its many dimensions.
This new Master’s program provides a deeper understanding of the European religious history, the sociology of religion, and religious law. It allows individual specialization in the areas of "Religion and Text", "Religion, Ethics, and Politics", "Religion and Society", and "Religion and Culture", and provides practical skills for analyzing and addressing religion-related challenges in pluralistic societies. The program is aimed at graduates of Bachelor's who are involved with the phenomenon of "religion" in a professional, voluntary, or private context and want to expand their skills in this area.
You can find more information about the programme on the website of the StudienServiceCenter Protestant Theology
