It is possible to retake a STEOP exam three times. If your fourth attempt is not successful, your admission to the degree programme expires on the day of the exam. The readmission to the degree programme is possible in the third semester after the admission expired.

If your fourth attempt is not successful, your admission to the degree programme and to other degree programmes that require you to complete that exam expire on the day of the exam. A readmission to the degree programme and to other degree programmes that require the completion of that exam at the University of Vienna is not possible.

Send an email to the SSC with the following information:
- name
- student ID nummer
- title of the exam and exam content
- desired examination period
After your registration the Director of Studies appoints an examination committee (consisting of three members) and a date of the exam is fixed. You will be informed by email about the appointed committee and the date.
